The GlasTech Trawler is an American built yacht which was
designed by the late Walter Scott. Mr. Scott had a particular
love for his latest design as well as a special feeling for the two
brothers Marc and Steve and the GlasTech yard because of the
particular attention they both pay to every detail. Attention
to strength and durability is the Hallmark of the GlasTech 34'
trawler. The hull is a version of the New England lobster
semi-displacement hull used by lobster fishermen. The boat is
known for economical performance and the ability to withstand rough
seas while maintaining speed.

Special features of the hull are a deep forefoot, a deep flared bow and a healthy sheer rise forward which allows the GlasTech 34 to "punch" into the seas while keeping the decks dry without loss of speed. A full skeg extends from the bow to the propeller for directional stability in steering. The GlasTech 34 was tank tested in smooth and rough waters at the Webb Institute of Naval Architecture with exceptionally favorable results. | |

| The deck and topside has a non-skid gel coat. A two-tone non-kid color is available. The deck is bolted and glassed to the hull for additional safety and a lifetime of trouble free cruising. | ||

| No wood is used in the construction of the hull or deck structures. Interior finishes are of owners choice for cabin sole, cabinets, doors, and galley components. Only high tech composite materials are used in the structural components which is both light weight and strong. | |||
