  • Our experience with "one off" in the manufacturing of molds has given us insight into cost savings techniques that are not utilized in the factory "production line" yacht manufacturing.

As we all know "Do It Right The First Time" is one of the best ways of reducing construction costs.  What Marc and Steve Quenneville learned while apprenticed for other yacht manufacturing companies was a valuable lesson.  When Yacht Brokers requested warrantee repair on yachts after delivery to the brokerage, additional charges occur.  Warrantee work is labor intensive because it is more difficult to repair and match "paint or patch".  These additional costs are passed on to the buyer.  Since the GlasTech Yacht is both built at the yard and delivered directly to the owner, these costs are avoided.  
  • Our experience in custom construction and repair of molds has enhanced our ability to be of service to local yacht manufacturers such as Morgan Yachts, Irwin Yachts, Allmand Yachts, Captiva Yachts and Bombay Yachts.
